"Trends in Charitable Giving"

As AVP for Gift Planning at OHSU Foundation, Rochelle Makela-Goodman leads a team focused on securing estate gifts, life income arrangements, and complex assets. Previously, at Princeton University, she revamped the gift planning program, boosting productivity and donor engagement. Rochelle also expanded the advisory committee, championed diversity, and received a Grand Gold Award from CASE for her virtual planned giving webinar series. With extensive fundraising expertise, including corporate relations and major gifts, Rochelle's 15-year tenure at Lehigh University culminated in roles as Assistant Vice President. She also served as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Centenary University, her alma mater, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art and Design. Rochelle's commitment to lifelong learning led her to pursue advanced studies in public policy, economics, and financial sciences at various institutions.
