Welcome

to the Estate Planning Council of Portland’s website. We are a non-profit organization with the objective of providing professional education to further the estate planning knowledge of our members.  Our membership is comprised of Estate Planning Attorneys, Trust Officers, Certified Public Accountants, Chartered Life Underwriters, Certified Financial Planners, Chartered Financial Consultants, and others actively participating in estate planning matters in Oregon and southwest Washington.

Education is provided through four Mini-Seminars hosted throughout the year and an Annual Seminar, which is full day and includes many national speakers.  Non-members may attend Mini-Seminars as guest of members and the Annual Seminar is open to everyone.

Estate Planning Council of Portland, Inc. is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
